Pataky

weo ambassador

Elsa Pataky is a highly acclaimed Spanish Actress and Environmentalist living in Australia who has appeared in over twenty films and three television series.

Elsa recently completed shooting on the feature film CARMEN with director Ben Millepied then shortly after the highly anticipated International Action Feature INTERCEPTOR. Her recognition spans well beyond the Fast and Furious franchise, (which she stars alongside Vin Diesel) making her one of the most well-known Spanish actresses of her generation.

Most recently, Elsa starred in Netflix’s TIDELANDS, however it was her title role in NINETTE, helmed by Oscar-winner José Luis Garci that brought her undivided critical acclaim and firmly established Elsa as a much sought- after leading lady.

In addition to Spanish, Elsa is fluent in English, Italian, Romanian and French. Pataky is a long term and passionate Wildlife and Environmental activist. With a passion for the Land and Sea, she has collaborated with various organisations including Marine Conservation Group Oceania, Wild Ark and Aussie Ark, as well as Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.

In partaking in campaigns that align with her ethos, Elsa has planted a coral garden in Fiji, released Tasmanian Devils as part of rewilding programme and has adopted wildlife.

An avid Horse lover and rider, she has a determination to help save the environment, its creatures, and its natural resources for future generations. Pataky is a brilliant role model for young girls and women upcoming in Film and Wildlife arenas to pursue their goals.

We welcome Elsa to WILD EARTH OCEANIA.

The movies are inspirational, educational and easily absorbed. How wonderful will it be if Australia could have its own festival so the rest of the world could see how amazing and precious our Wildlife really is.  Each one of us can protect them and I hope all of us can play a role.

I am so proud for having been chosen as an AMBASSADOR of WILD EARTH OCEANIA
